Chris and I are so pleased that our parents have been accepting and supportive of this adoption. Especially our moms.
My mom (being the go-getter business woman that she is) has organized a family-wide "benefit" yardsale to help raise money for this adoption; in addition, she made dad put two old cars in the Thrifty Nickel, hoping to make a small chunck profit that will also help bring our baby home!
Chris' mom is getting her prize winning thimble ready for action--after a lengthy visit to JoAnn's Fabric, material has been chosen and the pattern put in place for our little one's first handmade baby quilt...you guessed it, lavendar is the color!
