Home Study Update

We're back from our blogging sabbatical! We haven't gone anywhere, we've just had a lot going on at home. The picture at the top of this entry is a picture of me, Trinity (the black pug) and Neo (the fawn pug). I was finishing up a book critique in our back yard swing. I'm not sure that the pugs helped me get the assignment done, but it is done none the less. Actually, my entire degree is done. Part of the reason for our sabbatical has been Holly's mad rush to finish up with her classes at Westlawn and me finishing up my thesis for seminary. The other reason for our sabbatical has been a lack of information with the adoption. We did finish our home study, at least our portion of the home study, and have been waiting for all of the revisions and final changes to be made to it. We are going between two different agencies, our main agency in Texas and our agency in Alabama that actually conducted the home study, so our editing time has been increased. We are hoping that this increase in editing time means that we will not have any unforeseen problems with it in the near future. The home study is supposed to get the final signatures from our agency tomorrow! We will post again to let everyone know how that goes. For now - we continue to wait, and wait, and wait. Well, that's it for now. We will attempt to be more faithful to the blog. Thanks for putting up with our sabbatical!
