The adventure begins!

We're off and ready to begin the next chapter of this incredible journey! Before we begin talking about the trip details, here's a quick update of the big news.

First of all, thanks Royce for your comment. I apologize that I did not get back with you. We will be registering when we bring her back home and will be happy to send the details over to you. Thanks for your prayers and support!

Secondly, WE'RE IN PGN!!!! We received the news this past week that we entered PGN in early December. Please pray for us...we don't want any previos!!!!

And finally, we're off to Guatemala to see our little girl! We are currently in Florida visiting my parents. We will leave here in a day and continue down to Guatemala City. There are a few big differences in this trip as compared to the previous trips. The first difference is the length of our stay. We will be down for a couple of weeks on this trip as opposed to only a couple of days! We are so excited about this. The second difference, and largest difference, is that I (Chris) will return on an airplane back to the US alone. We have made the proper arrangements and Holly will be staying in Guatemala with our little girl! This is a chance of a lifetime, not only to be with our baby girl but to also live in an incredibly beautiful place that very few will even travel to. As you can tell I am quite jealous, however, one of us has to stay behind to take care of the homefront. Soon the wait will be over and we will all be reunited as one big family and begin the "normal" part of our lives together. (Whatever "normal" looks like) Today however, we are simply loving the journey. This adoption has been a wild ride and is by no means over yet. However, we wouldn't trade anything for the journey thus far! Holly's new roommate in Guatemala put it this way, "who said that the adventures stop when you become a parent!" How true!
