Quilt Raffle
It's been quite a while since we started, but we finally have a winner for the antique quilt donated to help raise money for the adoption. For many weeks now, people have been purchasing raffle tickets in order to have a chance at winning the quilt. Thank you so much to all that have participated and bought tickets. Unfortunately there is only one quilt and it goes to......(notice the heavy security that was present at the time of the drawing. Nothing gets by that pug. Oh yeah, and the winner is........)

One final word of thanks goes out to the incredible person who donated the quilt for the raffle! I would love to post your name here and let the world know how great of a person you are, however, until we have permission to do so the world will simply know you as one of the miracle workers that is working to help bring our little girl home! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! Thanks again to all who participated!

What part of Alabama are you from. I grew up there. I am also adopting a baby girl from Guatemala. Her name is Maya Grace and she is 3 months old.

We are in Huntsville. What agency are you using? I love the name Maya Grace! I have some friends that have also named their daughter Maya. Best of luck in the adoption. I'll be by to check out the blog.
